Job description
In support of our Service Manager, we are looking for someone with good experience in the service department of a mechanical workshop. In our opinion, the candidate must have experience as a Service Advisor to be able to accomplish the objectives of the position.
Job duties may vary depending on the candidate's strengths and experience. The aim is to work with the manager to create a high-performance, efficient team to help the department excel. But as a basic outline, here are the tasks to be accomplished:
- Welcoming customers and opening work orders;
- Follow-up on work in progress and parts received, etc;
- Suggest maintenance according to the manufacturer's charter;
- Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up on CSI;
- Ensure work orders are completed according to manufacturer's standards;
- Respect all procedures in place.
The candidate must be a good communicator and show leadership. He/she must work in a safe manner and promote this way of doing things.
Knowledge of Serti software and experience in a dealership are definite assets.
