Lube Technician (Afternoon Shift) - Pickering Site

$30.28 per hour
Scheduled Shift/Hours
Monday to Friday - 3:00 pm to 12:00 am

What you will do:
In the position of Lube Technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Adhering to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
- The servicing of all Company vehicles, such as chassis lubrication, oil changes and cleaning of trucks.
- Conducting vehicle maintenance according to established MWS policies and procedures.
- Maintain all required records and files for vehicle maintenance.
- Cleaning the shop and generally maintaining the appearance of the equipment.
- Assisting mechanics with basic repairs and other maintenance on trucks.
What you should have:
In the position of Lube Technician, your requirements will include but are not limited to:
- Successful candidates will be mechanically inclined and possess a strong work ethic.
- Should possess a strong desire to learn and an ability to apply that knowledge during their daily duties.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is key as well as working in a team environment.
- You must be available to work late when trucks are behind schedule, as well you may be required to work weekends and holidays.
- Must have a valid driver's license for this position.
- Flexibility is also required as this position occasionally requires travel, early starts, late finishes and, on rare occasions, weekend work.
