Mechanic - MOTORS

Solidly established for 69 years in the east end of Montreal, the Christin Chevrolet Buick GMC after-sales service team is currently looking for an experienced engine mechanic to service and repair cars, SUVs and light trucks for its CHEVROLET, BUICK and GMC brands.

The Engine Mechanic must have the appropriate knowledge of automotive mechanics to enable him/her to diagnose and repair engines & differentials on Chevrolet, Buick and GMC cars, SUVs and light trucks.

In the performance of his/her duties, the mechanic will carry out preventive maintenance and repair work, inspections and evaluations, and road tests, in collaboration with the technical advisors.

We are looking for someone who is professional, motivated, assiduous & autonomous, punctual and eager to offer quality work to our customers.

Requirements :

- Five years' practical experience in auto mechanics;
- Hold a DEP in auto mechanics, as well as a competency card;
- Hold a valid class 5 driver's licence.

Assets :

- Fluency in English (an asset);
- Any experience in engine and electrical diagnostics (an asset);
- Experience in automotive mechanics (an asset);
- Holder of a halocarbon inspector's card or a P.E.P. inspection card for vehicle inspection (an asset).
