Job description
We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team.
Position summary:
Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for acting as a support to the Controller and the Accounting Department. You will perform tasks related to the accounting / accounting cycle as a whole.
The main tasks are listed below, but the incumbent may be assigned to other duties.
Duties:
- Account for and reconcile daily deposits;
- Account for new and used vehicle sales;
- Calculate commissions and other tasks required for payroll preparation;
- Reconcile supplier statements and general ledger.
Your strengths:
- Knowledge of accounting principles;
- Versatile and dynamic;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills;
- Basic computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel);
- Attention to detail;
- Education in accounting (DEC, University Certificate or Bachelor's degree).
This is a full-time position.
