Mechanic - SHERBROOKE

Ici Pneu Sherbrooke is currently looking for a journeyman Class A or B auto Mechanic - Technician to join our hard-working and motivated team.

Located in one of Quebec's most beautiful regions and cities, the Eastern Townships is a great place to live, with large green spaces, a beautiful, clean workshop and a team with a family atmosphere waiting for you.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Determine vehicle condition by performing inspections and diagnostic tests;
- Identify worn and damaged parts;
- Verify vehicle performance by performing road tests, adjusting controls and systems;
- Carry out repairs, maintenance and preventive inspections;
- Complete vehicle inspection documentation.

Skills:

- At least 8 years of experience in automotive mechanics;
- DEP in auto mechanics or other relevant training;
- Valid Quebec class 5 driver's licence;
- Good knowledge of electricity;
- Knowledge of refrigeration or A/C systems (an asset);
- Possession of a toolbox;
- Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) certification (an asset);
- Autonomy and ability to comply with regulations and deadlines;
- Interest and aptitude for problem-solving, troubleshooting with OBD scanner.
