Parts Supervisor

Job Duties

 

• Special order parts and internal parts supply to service.
• Stock receiving
• Assist in monthly sales promotions, offers

• Assist with running inventory reports including parts turns, minimum and maximum stocking levels, etc.
• Oversee stocking of shelves in the camping store
• Assist with overall merchandising and with providing recommendations on marketing materials and POP (point of purchase) materials
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through efficient and timely processing of parts orders within the guidelines of company policies and procedures and by checking parts availability
• Handling incoming calls
• Maximize customer parts sales transactions
• Analyze requests for parts; provide parts information and prices from service manuals, reference materials and computer
• Establish a good relationship with distributors, dealers, service centers and consumers
• Responsible for inventory control
• Maintain database by entering new and updated customer and account information
• Monitor special order part transactions
• Review all A/R and special-order deposits reports and reconcile
• Track loss sales
• Assist Fixed Operations Manager with special projects
• Oversee day to day store parts operations when the Fixed Operations Manager is absent
• Perform general and specific administrative duties
• Any other items as directed by the Retail Parts Manager

Requirements

 

• Have excellent customer service skills
• Have good knowledge of mechanical/electrical parts
• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
• RV and/or automotive industry is an asset
• Have a valid class 5 driver's license
• Strong computer proficiency
• Ability to lead a team
• Ability to take initiative
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• Team player
• Annual Compensation is between $52,000 and $58,000, depending on RV Parts experience.
