Job description

Tesla Toronto Automation is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our world-class team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics operations, managing a wide variety of shipments to meet the unique requirements of internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities
 

  • Prioritize, monitor, and communicate the status of daily rush shipments with internal and external stakeholders; handle packaging, paperwork, and customs documentation for clearance support as needed
  • Perform daily order entry for rush and spare parts shipments; generate shipping labels, BOLs, customs documents, and weekly shipping schedules; create internal invoices as needed
  • Update the M1 ERP system with order and shipment details, including packaging, customs, HTS codes, COO, and trackers (rush shipments and project spreadsheets)
  • Submit and monitor shipment requests via Ad Hoc; collaborate on special shipments such as Hazmat, LTL, and specialized equipment with the Ad Hoc team, freight forwarders, and carriers
  • Manage order entry, shipping documentation, and invoicing for external vendors
  • Prepare CERS declarations, obtain PODs, and support cross-border, local, and international shipments, including returns to vendors
  • Develop and update Logistics SOPs to streamline operations and improve efficiency


Requirements
 

  • College certificate or degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs & Trade Compliance, or equivalent experience
  • Proven understanding of import/export regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft programs, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to communicate effectively across departmental levels; customer service experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision; adaptable and eager to learn in changing circumstances
  • Goal- and detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills; able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work well in a team setting and take initiative; willingness to handle other duties as assigned to meet business needs
