We are looking for a controller to oversee the financial and accounting management of our growing company. If you are detail-oriented, strategic, and eager to play a key role in decision-making, this position is for you.
Your daily responsibilities:
- Managing customer accounts (invoicing, payments, follow-ups) and supplier accounts (invoice entry, payment preparation, due date tracking)
- Assisting in the preparation of tax returns (GST, QST, income tax) and providing documentation for year-end financial statements
- Preparing and submitting monthly financial information to the team and compiling documents for annual financial reviews with partners
- Archiving accounting documents (invoices, receipts, bank statements) and collaborating with the team to resolve financial and administrative issues
- Processing payroll (timesheet preparation, payroll confirmation in the system, archiving pay slips and payroll records)

What you need to succeed in this role:
- Technical diploma in accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in an SME and the automotive sector
- Experience in payroll processing
- Excellent command of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Google Drive
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
