St-Jérôme Chrysler, the 2nd best Chrysler dealership in Quebec, is looking for a Parts Manager to join our talented team. Lots of projects and challenges await you!
Main responsibilities :
Inventory management and procurement:
- Oversee inventory of parts and accessories to ensure adequate supply.
- Order parts according to service and sales needs, while optimizing costs.
- Maintain an accurate inventory and ensure the efficient rotation of parts to avoid overstocks or stock-outs.
- Manage supplier returns and warranties.
Customer service and support to other departments:
- Provide quality service to customers and service department technicians.
- Work with the sales team to market accessories.
- Respond to customer requests promptly and professionally.
Collaboration with the Fixed Operations Manager:
- Work closely with the Fixed Operations Manager to ensure smooth management of resources and processes.
- Develop joint strategies to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate initiatives to optimize performance of parts and service departments.
Financial management and departmental performance:
- Develop and monitor parts department budget.
- Analyze sales and performance reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop strategies to maximize department profitability.
Team supervision and development:
- Coach, train and motivate the Parts Department team.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Compliance with standards and policies:
- Ensure that the department complies with manufacturer and dealership policies.
- Apply best practices in management and customer service.
Skills and qualifications required:
- 5 years' experience in parts management in an automotive dealership, ideally Chrysler.
- Excellent inventory management and logistics skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and optimize profitability.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of parts management software and automotive-related computer systems.
Salary and benefits :
- $75,000 per year;
- 40-hour work week, ending at 2 p.m. on Fridays.
