Brief Description
We are seeking a full-time robotics and automotive engineer to partner with our partnering client to help support our client's production engineering, design and manufacturing teams within their automotive manufacturing facility in Cambridge.

Position Summary
The Robot Technician (SEIBI) will report to the client's paint Seibi manager and managing principal of CrossSafety Holding Inc. This position will be supporting the Paint Shop Team within the Cambridge location responsible to participate in and perform Digital Engineering studies, commissioning, teaching and quality adjustment of all paint robotic processes.
Some Key Responsibilities
• Program and fine-tune robotic paint shop applications.
• Coordinate and conduct trials to optimize paint quality.
• Perform studies and programming using advanced robot simulation software.
• Analyze paint quality using industry-standard tools like elcometers, wavescan, and x-rite.
• Document and refine robotic processes to ensure seamless handovers across facilities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and pilot teams to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor's degree within Engineering with a focus on Robots or similar technical degree
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Familiar with Digital Robot Engineering, CATIA, AutoCAD and robotic automation (Kawasaki robots) is preferred
• Paint shop robot processes experience or knowledge of the paint application process.
• Excellent at working in a fast-paced environment, strong time management skills, self-motivated and team- oriented professional who can problem-solve enjoying hands-on work and continuous learning.
