Job description
Reporting to the Supervisor of the light vehicle repair department of our Atelier Mécanique St-Isidore division, the Service Advisor's role consists mainly in listening to and analyzing customer needs, as well as providing explanations of necessary repairs.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Make appointments and greet customers;
- Handle telephone calls, e-mails, reports and customer requests;
- Explain to customers the nature of the maintenance or repair work to be carried out;
- Prepare repair orders for vehicles;
- Close work orders;
- Order parts related to work to be performed on work orders and make warranty claims as required;
- Ensure proper inventory management;
- Miscellaneous data entry;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the department;
- Maintain good customer relations.
Professional and personal qualifications:
- Results-oriented;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Good communicator;
- Initiative and openness.
Technical knowledge:
- Years of experience: 1 to 3 years;
- Other: Knowledge of basic mechanics (an asset).
