Groupe Losier is made up of 4 Mitsubishi dealerships, and Récré-Auto Entrepôt Laval is our latest acquisition. To complete our team, we're looking for a Pre-Owned Vehicles Buyer to join us and help optimize our car inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, negotiating and acquiring quality vehicles, ensuring that they meet our dealership's standards. The buyer will play a key role in sourcing vehicles that meet our customers' needs and expectations.

Here is a DESCRIPTION of your future RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Research and evaluate used vehicles for purchase, based on quality, price, market and demand.
- Be able to purchase between 400 and 500 cars per year
- Negotiate prices and purchase conditions with sellers
- Carry out visual and technical inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with the company's quality standards
- Manage and develop relationships with suppliers, auctions and private sellers
- Maintain a database of vehicles available on the market and potential suppliers
- Work closely with sales team to ensure inventory reflects market needs
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to adjust purchasing strategies accordingly
- Respect and contribute to purchasing budgets

Here are the ideal SKILLS and BEHAVIORS we're looking for:

- Previous experience in buying or selling used vehicles (mandatory)
- In-depth knowledge of the used vehicle market, makes, models and price trends
- Negotiation and cost analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly
- Good organization and time management
- Results-oriented
- Bilingualism FR/EN
