The Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial aircraft ground service equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintains, repairs and overhauls aircraft ground service equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
- Performs troubleshooting of aircraft ground support equipment on a scheduled basis.
- Performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on company equipment.
- Maintains and makes repairs to facilities in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintains Equipment status report along with updating equipment service intervals.
- Liaises with vendors and secures favorable pricing of parts and services; initiates purchase orders.
- Keeps tools and support equipment in safe and operational working condition while maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- 0-4 years' experience as an Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice
- Experience in the repair and overhaul of motorized vehicles and industrial equipment an asset
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Problem-Solving Skills/Strong Technical Aptitude/Strong Work Ethic/Ability to take direction and learn quickly/Strong verbal, written and computer skills
- Ability to work well with others and alone
- Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
