Senior Process Coach Dyno - will be planning/coordinating cell maintenance, continuous improvement, strategy for efficiency, working with L240 employees and engineers for testing/calibration, etc.
This person will need to work with the plant operations and work on Engine warranty opportunities. They will work on issues with Problem solving skills and tools.
They will cultivate a new positive work environment in the lab and improve voice scores.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance activities prioritizing resources to ensure safety and quality.
- Support Work Groups for short and long term countermeasures of all abnormalities.
- Strategic planning and coordination of Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) activities to achieve Safety, Quality, and Productivity objectives.
- Communication and Recognition.
- Build Team Leader and Team Member capability.
- Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks.
- Monitor and execute daily Dyno tasks to maximize Dyno efficiencies and maintenance while - carts/calibrations/trades work/ daily fires/continuous improvement for cells/external work process management, etc... while keeping safety and quality standards. Test knowledge is recommended decisions on lot size and mix.
- Implement/Ensure adherence and compliance to the FPS Key Unifying Processes (KUP).
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience:
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Capable of assigning work to salaried techs/trades workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput.
Strong organizational and administrative skills/program management
Ability to multi-task.
Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
Preferred Requirements:
Education: Bachelor of Applied Science/Engineering Degree or college Diploma. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).
Experience:
Engine experience preferred.
Safety and Quality experience preferred.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of constraint management principles.
Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Prior experience managing a salaried/hourly work force.
