Assistant General Manager - Stratford Automart Used Car Location

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Drive Business Success: Oversee all aspects of dealership operations, from sales and financial services to the day-to-day activities.
  • Build and Lead a Winning Team: Recruit, hire, and mentor high-performing sales professionals to excel in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.
  • Master Deal Closures: Lead the structuring of successful new and used vehicle transactions, and perfect the process of vehicle appraisals and valuations.
  • Collaborate for Success: Forge strong relationships with customers, staff, and vendors to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Innovate and Lead: Develop and implement bold strategies to maintain our competitive edge and drive progress toward our goals.


Qualifications:
 

  • Experienced Leader: At least 5 years of sales management experience in the automotive retail industry, with a proven ability to lead a team of 10+ employees.
  • Sales Expert: In-depth knowledge of new and used vehicle sales, with CRM experience and a track record of converting leads into successful sales.
  • Financial Services Knowledge: Experience in automotive retail sales and financial services is highly preferred.
  • Operations Experience: Some experience in fixed operations is beneficial but not required.
  • Driven Self-Starter: A high-energy individual with a passion for success in the automotive industry.
  • Effective Communicator: Excellent leadership and communication skills that inspire teams and drive results.
  • Educational Background: A business degree from an accredited institution is preferred, along with a clean criminal record check and driver's abstract.
