As a Fixed Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Service and Parts Departments, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and outstanding customer satisfaction. Here's what you'll be doing

As the Fixed Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our parts department. Your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the service and parts teams to optimize performance, enhance skills, and ensure a high level of engagement.
  • Customer Experience: Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring high-quality service, timely repairs, and professional communication.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and parts inventory control, to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor and manage department budgets, expenses, and profitability. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines, local regulations, and dealership policies.
  • Business Growth: Identify opportunities to drive additional revenue through service promotions, upselling, and improved processes.
  • Warranty & Recall Management: Ensure proper processing of warranty claims and recall services to meet manufacturer requirements.

You need these qualifications
 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive fixed operations leadership role (Service Manager, Parts Manager, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of dealership service and parts operations, including OEM and warranty processes.
  • Proven ability to manage a team, drive performance, and foster a customer-centric culture.
  • Experience with automotive dealership management systems (DMS) and scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and a clean driving record.


It would be nice if
 

  • You have a Hyundai-Specific Certifications.
  • You have experience with electric vehicle (EV) service operations.
  • You're proficient with dealer management systems (DMS) like Reynolds & Reynolds.
  • You have experience in multi-dealership or high-volume operations.
  • You're familiar with environmental & safety regulations in automotive service shops.
