Job description:
We are currently seeking an Automotive Service Manager to join one of our locations. Reporting to general management, the successful candidate will oversee all operations of the service department, ensuring that customer satisfaction, profitability and the efficiency of the technical and administrative team are optimized.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the department.
- Manage, coach and motivate a team of technical advisors, technicians and support staff.
- Implement strategies to achieve performance, customer satisfaction and profitability objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a high level of service quality and ensure effective complaint resolution.
- Actively participate in the recruitment, training and evaluation of personnel.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive operations.
Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive industry.
- Strong team management, communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve performance objectives in a dynamic environment.
- Good knowledge of computer systems related to automotive service management (e.g. CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.).
- Mobilizing leadership, strong organizational skills and professional rigor.
- Bilingualism (French/English) an important asset.
