Job description:

We are looking for a passionate and rigorous automotive mechanic, ready to take on new challenges within our workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to Canadian Tire quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on various types of vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical problems using computerized tools and diagnostic tests
- Work closely with technical advisors to ensure clear communication with customers
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with company procedures
- Ensure that all repairs are carried out according to safety and quality standards
- Meet deadlines and contribute to the overall efficiency of the workshop.

Requirements:

- DVS in automotive mechanics or recognized equivalent
- Valid Mechanic's competency card (an asset)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent ability to diagnose mechanical problems
- Ability to work in a team and manage priorities
- Valid driver's licence and good driving record
