Job description

Tesla is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workplace Supervisor to join our Workplace Operations team. As a Workplace Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining our non-manufacturing facilities and delivering exceptional services to our engineering, technical, and administrative teams. This is a 12-month contract position.

Responsibilities
 

  • Lead the day to day operations of workplace teams, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve workplace operational objectives, utilizing industry best practices to meet business goals
  • Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, work orders, contract oversight, and performance tracking to ensure compliance with Tesla's operational standards
  • Ensure seamless execution of workplace requests, dispatching tasks to team members and maintaining high standards of service
  • Implement and uphold Tesla's safety protocols in alignment with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines
  • Plan and coordinate workplace projects, including budget management, stakeholder coordination, and procurement
  • Suggest and coordinate new/ongoing events by creating action lists, event schedules, allocating team support, managing budgets, communications, and event execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review projects, programs, and budgets, and provide support to meet deliverables and drive business outcomes


Requirements
 

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in Workplace Operations, Facilities Management, Construction, or Interior Design/Space Planning, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM/CAD software is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong creative and proactive approach to event planning, workplace design, and improvement projects
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting demands
  • Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from inception to completion
  • Strong customer-centric mindset, ensuring high-quality workplace experiences for employees and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments
