Position Details
- Location: Edmonton, AB
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Shifts: 8 hours per day, with potential for overtime
- Anticipated Start Date: April 21, 2025
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all fleet support needs including vehicle assignments, rentals, and tracking utilization
- Schedule and follow up on regular and emergency vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Maintain accurate records for fleet inventory, drivers, and vehicle documentation
- Assist in preparing and tracking purchase orders
- Prepare trucks and rentals for deployment, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order
- Collaborate with internal teams to anticipate operational needs and proactively resolve issues
- Create Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) for new and replacement vehicles
- Support shipping/receiving functions and assist with warehouse-related tasks as needed
- Perform minor light-duty mechanical work as required
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of related work experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Must be comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
- Strong computer skills; proficient with MS Word, Excel, and platforms such as Quickbase
- Technically inclined and confident using digital tools for fleet tracking and scheduling
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Alberta Transportation and National Safety Code (NSC) regulations
- Previous experience coordinating repairs and rentals is an asset
- Warehouse and/or shipping/receiving experience is considered a strong asset
- Steel toe boots are required
