Full-Time Fleet Operations Coordinator

Position Details
 

• Location: Edmonton, AB
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Shifts: 8 hours per day, with potential for overtime
• Anticipated Start Date: April 21, 2025

Responsibilities

 

• Coordinate all fleet support needs including vehicle assignments, rentals, and tracking utilization
• Schedule and follow up on regular and emergency vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Maintain accurate records for fleet inventory, drivers, and vehicle documentation
• Assist in preparing and tracking purchase orders
• Prepare trucks and rentals for deployment, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order
• Collaborate with internal teams to anticipate operational needs and proactively resolve issues
• Create Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) for new and replacement vehicles
• Support shipping/receiving functions and assist with warehouse-related tasks as needed
• Perform minor light-duty mechanical work as required

Requirements

 

• 1 to 3 years of related work experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Must be comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
• Strong computer skills; proficient with MS Word, Excel, and platforms such as Quickbase
• Technically inclined and confident using digital tools for fleet tracking and scheduling
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Alberta Transportation and National Safety Code (NSC) regulations
• Previous experience coordinating repairs and rentals is an asset
• Warehouse and/or shipping/receiving experience is considered a strong asset
• Steel toe boots are required
