Fleet Administrator
Equipment and Maintenance
Location: Nisku, AB

Your Opportunity with Michels Canada
Reporting to the Transportation and Fleet Compliance Manager, the Fleet Administrator supports the safe and efficient operation of Michels Canada's vehicle and equipment fleet. Strong attention to detail will be required when performing administrative tasks to ensure all required fleet-related activities are documented and tracked according to Michels Canada's policies and procedures.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
- Accurately and efficiently input, update and maintain maintenance and repair records into Fleet Software.
- Assist the Transportation and Compliance Manager in ensuring that equipment meets regulations and safety requirements.
- Ensure all relevant documentation, operator's manuals and warranty information is stored and maintained in the equipment master files.
- Be involved in the onboarding process of new equipment, obtaining and documenting equipment photos, weights and measurements.
- Assist in providing all necessary information to insurance companies in the event of an accident or claim.
- Pull compliance and maintenance history reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- 2-5 years working in fleet administration or at a dealership service center.
- Experience in truck dispatching, parts sourcing, registration or insurance will be considered an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft office programs.
- Experience working with Fleet management software (EI. Isaac Instruments and Geotab) and Enterprise resource planning (ERP) programs (EI. Fleet Focus and Viewpoint) will be considered an Asset.
