Automotive Detailer

Steele Mazda Saint John is seeking an Automotive Detailer to join our team!

As an Automotive Detailer at Steele Mazda Saint John, you will meticulously clean and restore the interior and exterior of vehicles to a pristine condition. This includes thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of the car's surfaces, as well as attention to detail in restoring upholstery, carpets, and other interior components.

Hourly Wage Range: $17.05 - $19.25

Please note that this role is not eligible for Immigration Assistance due to the specific National Occupational Classifications (NOC) requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

• Report any imperfections on new vehicles to management promptly.
• Apply products correctly to both the interior and exterior of sold vehicles.
• Buff vehicles as needed to maintain high-quality appearance.
• Prepare new and used vehicles to ensure they are presented in optimal condition.
• Park vehicles properly in designated areas, both on the lot and in delivery zones.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace to ensure a productive and hazard-free environment.

Requirements:

 

• 1 year of experience as an automotive detailer or in a similar role
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles
• Hardworking, self-motivated, and excellent time management skills
• Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, it is a requirement that staff must be clean-shaven. If you are unable to maintain a clean shave where the respirator seals to the face for any reason, please inform us in the form of a request for accommodation.
