Job description
You will be responsible for gathering the information required to identify and define the repair and maintenance needs of their vehicle. In addition, the Technical Advisor sells maintenance services and organizes the work schedule while ensuring quality customer service.
Main responsibilities:
- Greeting customers warmly and obtaining information about their car;
- Opening and closing work orders;
- Transmitting the correct information to the shop Technician responsible for the vehicle;
- Communicating with customers throughout the process to inform them of the work in progress on their vehicle;
- Explaining the work done and all costs to customers;
- Advising customers on the care of their vehicle and stressing the importance of maintaining it according to the manufacturer's specifications;
- Establishing a relationship of trust with customers;
- Maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction;
- Carrying out any other related duties as required and requested by management.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of mechanics;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Able to suggest, advise and sell maintenance complements to customers;
- Patient, calm and team player;
- At least 2 years experience as a service salesperson;
- Computer skills;
- Any combination of training and experience will be evaluated;
- Knowledge of SERTI software (an asset);
- Valid driver's licence.
