As the Sales Manager (SM) at Downtown Hyundai, your role is to ensure the overall success and growth of the dealership by overseeing the Sales Department and driving exceptional Guest Experience. You'll be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating a team of Sales Team professionals, Financial Services Managers and Product Advisors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. Here's what you'll be doing
You'll be the driving force behind our sales operations where you will lead the sales strategy and the customer experience at Downtown Hyundai. You will lead your team of sales professionals maximizing customer experience, setting performance goals and ensuring they are achieved. Your strategic insight and strong leadership skills will be essential in leading the sales team, optimizing sales processes and inventory management strategies, and ensuring the achievement of overall dealership goals. You will collaborate closely with our service and parts departments to create a seamless and exceptional experience for every guest, every time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement sales strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Lead the sales team: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of high-performing sales professionals. Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and support to achieve team goals.
- Monitor sales performance: Track and analyze key sales metrics, such as revenue, conversion rates, and customer acquisition. Implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Foster customer relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure the sales team operates within financial constraints.
- Market analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Contract negotiations: Lead negotiations with key clients and manage contract agreements to ensure favorable terms for the company.
- Sales reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Finance & Insurance (F&I): Maintain a deep understanding of F&I, ensuring your team is up-to-date on all F&I product and process training.

You need these qualifications
- Experience: Experience as a Sales Manager in a dealership with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance metrics while achieving leading CSI scores
- Skills:
- Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of automotive sales processes, inventory management, market trends, customer preferences, and department profitability.
- Understand the importance of providing an exceptional customer experience to both internal and external customers.
- Ability to analyze financial data and performance metrics effectively.
It would be nice if you
- Have a Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field
- Knowledge of local market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Have previous experience working with Hyundai vehicles
