We are looking for a dedicated and guest-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience by guiding guests through their vehicle service needs with care, attention to detail, and expert communication. This role is focused on building lasting relationships, delivering top-tier service, and ensuring each guest's visit is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Serve as guests' main point of contact, providing personalized service throughout their vehicle's maintenance or repair journey.
- Communication: Listen attentively to guest concerns, ask the right questions to ensure accurate information, and effectively communicate service recommendations and timelines.
- Service Coordination: Collaborate with technicians to ensure all necessary work is performed according to the guest's needs and expectations and provide accurate updates to guests.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Manage service appointments, ensuring that the flow of service is efficient, and guests are kept informed of any changes or delays.
- Problem Solving: Address any guest concerns or issues that arise promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Documentation: Accurately record service orders, repair details, and any relevant information in the system to ensure clear and transparent service records.
- Follow-Up: Maintain communication with guests after service is completed to ensure satisfaction and offer any additional assistance they may need.
- Guest Education: Provide helpful guidance to guests on routine vehicle maintenance and upkeep per the manufacturer's recommendations, offering advice that contributes to their understanding of vehicle care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest service, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and approachable manner.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering long-term relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude to address guest needs.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with automotive service processes, terminology, and repairs.
- Knowledge of dealership software such as Reynolds & Reynolds.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with the desire to contribute to a supportive work environment.
