Position Overview: 

In this position, the Shop Assistant will be responsible for bring completed service cars to a service bay where they will meticulously spray down floor mats, wipe mirrors and topical surfaces, to ensure our customers say WOW, when they get their car back from our service team.

Success in this role will require someone who has the physical capabilities to effectively maneuver around, under, and inside the vehicle to ensure a thorough and satisfactory detail has been completed.

Position Overview: 

In this position, the Shop Assistant will be responsible for transporting customers as needed, cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles owned by customers and those that will be placed into inventory. Success in this role will require someone who has the physical capabilities to effectively maneuver around, under, and inside the vehicle to ensure a thorough and satisfactory detail has been completed. 

Job Description: 
 

  • Driving cars from the service bay to the customer pick up area
  • Building and grounds maintenance as needed
  • Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed
  • Cleaning off vehicle exteriors based on seasonal needs (i.e. snow removal)
  • Identify any lot merchandising needs or issues to the appropriate manager
  • Lot tidiness (garbage clearing, etc)
  • Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free before returning to customers
  • Deliveries and other duties as assigned


Requirements: 
 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Interest in automotive industry, and knowledgeable about vehicles
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission is an asset, but not mandatory
  • Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset
  • Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
