Fuel & Lube Technician - MUST have Class 3 with air. Please read through this entire description and only apply if you meet the requirements.
Local job, not a camp position.
SUMMARY:
You MUST have at least 3 years of experience in preventative maintenance and servicing various types of heavy equipment. This position is responsible for the lubrication service and maintenance of a variety of equipment including, Excavators, Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Skid Steers, Packers. This is for a night shift position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose & completes preventive maintenance on all company equipment.
- Liaises with Maintenance Department regarding repairs required.
- Responsible for ensuring that all work is complete in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performs work effectively and safely in shops or outdoor construction site environments.
- Maintains record of work performed.
- Completes daily vehicle log.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs
- Previous Training and 3 years of work experience as a Fuel/Lube Technician.
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours a day
- Required to work outside under all weather conditions and handle noise and vibrations
- Must have valid CSTS/PST, TDG, Standard 1st Aid.
- Must be able to work night shifts.
- Must have a clean driving record and provide commercial drivers abstract with resume.
- Must comply with KLS' zero tolerance policy and complete the pre-employment drug & alcohol and fit testing.
