Equipment Operator

We are looking for someone seeking exciting new opportunities as an Equipment Operator for our thriving team. The successful person will be an energetic, customer focused, self-starter who has experience in the automotive aftermarket parts industry.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:
 

• Able to operate counter balance, order picker, reach truck and walkie rider is a must.
• Receive, offload and put-away products into the warehouse.
• Liaise with receiving coordinator when containers are coming in.
• Assist in posting purchase orders when necessary.
• Look for improvement opportunities in the put-away process.
• Manage inflow of goods.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
• Ensuring safety when performing tasks.
• Collaborating with peers in performing work tasks.

Expertise & Essential Skills:
 

• Experience in operating counter balance, order picker, reach trucks and walkie riders.
• Completion of High school diploma is preferred
• Proficient in the English language
• 1 to 3 years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Good physical condition, ability to lift +/- 40-pounds.
• Disciplined and practices good housekeeping.
• Comfortable using basic computer tools.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment is an asset.
• Flexible to work overtime on occasion.
