Heavy Equipment Technician ( Heavy Duty Mechanic)

Position Summary

Total Oilfield Rentals is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for responsible for working independently and as part of a larger crew to mobilize, demobilize, and service oilfield rental equipment

This position is fulltime and is based out of our Leduc & Whitecourt locations. 

Summary of Duties (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following):
 

• Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections;
• Responsible for using proper tools and techniques to complete the job safely;
• Maintain shop tools and work area;

Required Competencies
 

• Minimum 2nd Year Apprentice or Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Alberta Apprenticeship Board Certification
• Heavy Truck & trailer experience
• CVIP license preferred
• Experience working on Oilfield trucks
• A friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with individuals, groups and other organizations to fit in with our great working atmosphere

Working Conditions
