Service Production Manager

City Chrysler is seeking a Service Production Manager to join our growing team!

As a Service Production Manager with City Chrysler, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a team of technicians. If you are a motivated, customer-oriented individual with experience in automotive service management, this role provides a great opportunity for professional growth and performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

• Lead and mentor your team to success in the automotive industry
• Oversee repair procedures and ensure dealership standards are met
• Assist with diagnostics and communicate technical issues to staff
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and organization for maximum efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor productivity and efficiency of staff regularly
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
• Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

 

• Must be Red Seal Certified
• 2+ years of automotive experience preferably in Fixed Operations
• Strong leadership skills
• Organized, hardworking, and self-motivated
• Excellent time management abilities
• Managerial experience is a plus
