Assistant Collision Centre Manager

The Highland Collision Centre is one of the largest facilities in York region and we are equipped with some of the most modern equipment. We are I Class Gold (Aluminium) certified and certified with multiple OEMs. The successful candidate will join us in our focus to provide outstanding customer service and quality.
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Assistant Manager is to provide an exceptional customer experience while leading production in the shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and automotive repair, with the ability to assess vehicle damage accurately and provide estimates. This person plays a pivotal role in the success of the of the Collision Centre.
Role and Requirements
- Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
- Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
- Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
- Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
- Collaborate with the body shop team to ensure timely and efficient repair processes
- - Utilize mechanical knowledge to evaluate repair needs and recommend appropriate services
- Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)
- Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair setting preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in sales and interacting with customers
