Join Our Team as a Fleet Service Coordinator in Edmonton, AB!

As a Fleet Service Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and clerical functions of the service department. You will work closely with the Fleet Manager and Service Team Leads for smooth operations of the shop as per the Company guidelines and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Act as a liaison between operations and maintenance teams to identify and prioritize vehicle repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Plan and coordinate fleet maintenance activities in collaboration with Operations, Shop Team Leads, and the Parts department.
  • Oversee the administration of work orders, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting.
  • Review and close work orders to ensure fleet management accuracy.
  • Manage warranty administration and facilitate regular safety meetings.
  • Utilize fleet maintenance software to document repairs, manage parts usage, and account for repair times.
  • Estimate time and materials for repairs, requisitioning new parts as needed.
  • Use vehicle diagnostic systems to interpret failure modes and assign repairs.
  • Keep management informed of the status of equipment and heavy trucks, including downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to Company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Perform any other duties as required by the Fleet Manager.


What You'll Bring:
 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with technicians, customers, and management.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, calculations, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for repair documentation and diagnostics (diagnostic software experience is a plus!).
  • Familiarity with tools and procedures for commercial vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to follow schedules, technical manuals, and guidelines.
  • A self-starter mentality, capable of working both independently and within a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
