Mechanic 310T (Waste Industry)

  Job Duties:
• Troubleshootand repair hydraulic and electrical systems;
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance;
• Maintain up-to-date/organizedwork orders;
• Communicateregularly with managers regarding repair status and concerns;
• Work aspart of a team to support the daily needs of the operation;
• Maintain aclean & organized shop/equipment work area;
• Provideguidance and instruction to junior maintenance personnel;
• Suggestpositive changes to processes or procedures to enhance operational efficiency;and
• Observesafe work practices.

What will you bring?
 

• 310T or RedSeal Licence;
• Must have avalid G license/ Asset: Valid DZ licence & clean drivers abstract;
• Own tools;
• Experiencewith hydraulic and electrical systems an asset;
• Strongtroubleshooting skills;
• Basic proficiency withuse of computers;
• Asset: Previous workexperience in working with online preventative maintenance programs;
• Ability tostand/lift 60lbs/carrying/bending/twisting for periods at a time/repeatedly;
• Effectivecommunication skills (both written & verbal); and
• Punctual,reliable, team player
• Diagnose and complete all repairs safelyand within company policy and manufacturer specifications;
