ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our Sales Consultants or Product Advisors interact with potential customers to understand their purchase and vehicle preferences, demonstrate comfort and convenience features, facilitate test drives, and assist with the completion of the necessary paperwork required to complete the sale. Our Product Advisors strive to meet their monthly sales targets by following a daily work plan that focuses their attention on sales-generating activity and providing excellent customer service from initial contact to final delivery. The primary function of an Automotive Sales Representative is to make customers feel welcome and supported throughout the car-purchasing process; ensuring the customer is satisfied and will continue to use the dealership for their future maintenance and car buying needs.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Greet and assist customers enthusiastically and professionally, creating a welcoming and positive experience.
  • Understand customer needs and preferences, providing tailored vehicle recommendations.
  • Conduct test drives, highlighting the features and benefits of various vehicles.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our inventory, financing options, and current promotions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new models, and competitor offerings.


Qualifications:
 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Must have or be in the process of obtaining an OMVIC License.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
