We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Sales Representative to grow our Local Fleet Program. As part of our customer service team, you will focus on lead generation for local fleet consignment through OPENLANE's dealer marketplace. In this role, you will actively drive the sales growth for the local fleet program in the local market, leveraging your sales expertise to contribute to revenue generation.
You Are:

- Persuasive. You can identify benefits for consumers considering using OPENLANE's marketplace, including ancillary services.
- Team Oriented. You will partner with our other team members, including sales, administration, and accounting to maintain and grow sales volume.
You Will:
- Drive superior customer experience to ensure customer satisfaction and build a referral network.
- Develop and grow new and existing local fleet accounts by executing proper sales strategies, including making visits to local fleet prospects,
- Collaborate with market and sales leadership on local targets and marketing efforts
- Support growth of the local fleet customer base and act as a liaison between all Vehicle Logistics Center (VLC) departments, including sales representatives, consignment dealers and other VLC departments.
- Handle and close local fleet at auction and digital if-bids, ensuring a high-level conversion rate.
- Educate customers on the best ways to utilize our systems and services, including pricing and negotiating bids.
- Ensure ancillary services such as transport and shop services have been scheduled and completed.
- Generates/prepares reports by gathering data from computerized systems (i.e. inventory reports and sales summary)
- Supporting related customer service requirements; which may include answering calls, greeting walk in customers, taking payments, and processing requests
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by communicating with clients; identifying & resolving issues in a timely manner
- Facilitate the seller cheque process and ensure all assigned accounts are in good standing
- Perform auction day duties such as customer service, auction representation and post-sale reporting.
- Utilize OPENLANE's CRM to log calls, run reports, and view dashboards.
Must Haves:
- 1-2 Years' of sales experience within a related field
- A good understanding of methods for promoting and selling products and services.
- Proficiency in Google Products and computer skills.
- Valid driver's license in the province of employment.
- Effective customer relations, communication, enthusiastic, persuasive and interpersonal skills
Nice to Haves:
- Prior experience within the automotive remarketing industry
- Experience with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE systems
- Familiarity with the automotive industry
