Job Description

Volkswagen of Richmond is a leading automotive retailer dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the demand for electric vehicles (EVs) continues to grow, we are seeking an EV Sales Specialist to join our team. 

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable EV Sales Specialist to join our sales team in either a Full Time or Part Time role. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling electric vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of our dealership. 

Responsibilities: 
 

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual EV sales targets
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of EV products, features, and benefits
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns related to EVs
  • Conduct test drives and demonstrate EV features and technology
  • Build relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to achieve dealership goals
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor analysis, and market developments
  • Participate in promotional events, workshops, and training sessions
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market feedback


Requirements: 
 

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and related technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record


Preferred Qualifications: 
 

  • Experience working with EVs or in a related field (e.g., renewable energy)
  • Certification or training in EV sales or technology
  • Familiarity with dealership software and CRM systems
  • Bilingualism or multilingualism an asset
