What You'll Be Doing:
As a Fleet Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fleet operations. Your responsibilities will include:

 

• Assisting project managers with fleet management tasks
• Ensuring fleet vehicles, equipment, and supplies are available when and where needed
• Performing maintenance on equipment, trailers, and laydowns
• Conducting maintenance on fleet vehicles, including changing headlights and tires, washing vehicles, and transporting trucks to various sites
• Developing unique knowledge about Terracon's field operations
• Supporting our Fleet team as needed
• Pay rate will be $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on work experience

What We're Looking For:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

 

• Superior driving skills, including off-road experience, with a clean driver's abstract
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• A hands-on aptitude and willingness to learn
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• The capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• A strong commitment to safety for yourself and your colleagues

Working Conditions, Schedule, and Physical Requirements:

 

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and at least 2 years of driving experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable working in a field environment, including driving to and from sites, as well as on-site tasks
• Comfortable driving trucks for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs as needed
• This is a safety-sensitive position
• Successful completion of a Fit for Work and Drug and Alcohol test is required
• Schedule may occasionally require being on-call and working overtime
