Position: Inside Sales - Equipment
Location: Port Coquitlam (Head Office and Distribution Center)

What you'll do:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding automotive equipment and accessories
- Provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability to customers
- Recommend products based on customer needs and upsell additional items if appropriate
- Process sales orders, prepare quotes, and follow up on leads to ensure customer satisfaction
- Resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with store and outside sales team members to coordinate sales efforts and achieve sales goals
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings
- Build customer loyalty through continuous innovation and become a trusted advisor to our customers and sales staff
- Comply with company policies and procedures giving special attention to ensure safety and health regulations are followed and enforced
- Keep current with product knowledge
- Other duties as assigned
Do you fit the part?
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of automotive equipment, tools, and accessories
- Additional education or certification in sales or marketing is an asset
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the automotive equipment or related industry
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service and the ability to interact in a friendly manner in person and over the phone
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Mathematically inclined
- Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift items up to 50lbs
- Ability to work as a member of the team and be flexible in understanding a variety of duties that contribute to the success of the organization
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
