What you'll be doing in the role:
 

• Responsible for maintenance, repairs/warranty work, troubleshooting of municipal vehicles (firetrucks, street sweepers, hydrovac, Public Works vehicles, etc.)
• Providing field services in the GTA and surrounding areas (Barrie, Durham, York, Halton, Golden Horseshoe, Kitchener/Waterloo region.
• Ensuring exceptional customer service and being a positive representative of the organization while on the road / offsite.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation / recording of work performed.
• Follow all required safety processes and procedures at all times.
• Communicating any issues, ideas and updates to Management

What you bring to the role:
 

• 310T trade license - Journeyman or final year apprentice
• At least 3 years' experience with Shop and / or Field Technician experience. Experience with busses, larger industrial vehicles
• Strong English communication skills: Written, Oral
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills both with customers and colleagues / co-workers
• Good computer skills
• Reliable, accountable, eager to learn and grow
• Someone who takes pride in their work and maintains and organized and clean work area
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to complete a criminal reference check and are bondable
