Division Information
PACCAR Financial (PFC) facilitates the sale of premium-quality PACCAR vehicles in 20 countries on three continents worldwide by offering a full spectrum of creative, flexible financial products and value-added services specifically tailored to the transportation industry.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Obtain invoice coding approval and process vendor invoices.
- Process Concur expenses on Concur portal and record Concur expenses.
- Prepare HST/GST/PST/QST monthly filling and income tax installment.
- Prepare daily cash sheet reconciliation and cash summary report.
- Manage AP month end procedure and AP module close.
- Update USD forecast weekly schedule and send to tax department.
- Prepare vendor audit report and file approved report.
- Reconcile various general ledger accounts in the areas of cash, accounts receivable, intercompany receivables and liabilities. Ensure the accuracy and timely processing of transactions and resolve issues as they occur. Process clearing of aged items as identified.
- Prepare daily treasury-related journal entries and maintain communication with the treasury group regarding unusual items.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and participate in the month end close process.
- Prepare financial reports used internally by Senior Management.
- Assist with areas of the 10Q and 10K External Reporting process.
- Maintain and load financial data into the Consolidations reporting system.
- Provide backup for daily cash and check processing, financial reporting and analysis, general ledger maintenance and other duties as assigned.
- Manage the Capital budget system and the Fixed asset system for PACCAR Financial Corp.
- Provide support to internal audit, SOX audit and external audit.
- Update Journal voucher and reconciliation log report and fill it in binder.
- Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned.
Skills / Competencies
- Minimum of five year of relevant work experience.
- Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills.
- Deadline driven and self-motivated.
- Attention to detail with a "big picture" focus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong system skills - Excel required and SAP experience desired.
Education
- BS/BA in Accounting required.
- CPA, MBA or CMA desired.
