Rental Fleet Coordinator

LOCATION:Innisfil, Ontario

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 4-days in office, 1-day work from home - following training period

SUMMARY:

As the Rental Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of the Rental fleet ensuring optimal efficiency, in alignment with the established processes. The Rental Fleet Coordinator will be focused on maintaining accurate fleet records, maintaining compliance with all government regulations, and ensuring all preventative maintenance is up to date. This position will maintain good internal relations by providing timely and effective response times, management of fleet documentation, as well as support and back-up to others within the Rental team as required. This position reports to the Rentals Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification: 
 

  • Degree or diploma in Administration or related work experience
  • Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract


Experience: 
 

  • Exceptional computer/technical proficiency - high proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • High level of Customer Service experience
  • Truck/Equipment/Service background considered an asset


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Manage the day-to-day coordination of repair and maintenance activities of fleet assets
  • Monitor/track down units for all shops and ensure repair times are in line with rentals standards
  • Escalate situations to the Fleet Manager when required
  • Maintain files and notify our shops when required maintenance is due (including annual inspections, emissions testing, preventative maintenance, safeties, DOT, tank certs.)
  • Provide feedback to the Rentals team regarding downtime and completion dates
  • Act as a liaison between the service departments and rentals team
  • Uphold accurate rental asset files
  • Monitoring check ins and outs for accuracy and completion
  • Licensing of Rental Fleet Assets
  • Manage the fleet onboarding and decommissioning process
  • Warranty registrations (chassis and body)
  • Fleet reporting as required
  • Other duties as assigned
