Capital Ford Lincoln is looking to add a strong leader to their team! Step into the dynamic role of Service Shop Foreman, leading our top-notch automotive service technicians. You'll ensure smooth operations, top-quality work, and exceptional customer satisfaction every day.
Key Duties:
- Lead and Inspire: Supervise and train a skilled team of shop workers.
- Quality Control: Ensure every task is completed with precision and on time.
- Efficient Management: Handle repair orders and approvals seamlessly.
- Clear Communication: Keep everyone informed about vehicle readiness and updates.
- Standards and Safety: Maintain high standards for cost, quality, and safety.
- Hands-On Support: Assist with test drives and provide expert repair advice.
- Safety First: Identify and document safety issues, and train to prevent recurrences.
- Boost Productivity: Innovate and coordinate activities to enhance efficiency.
- Tech Savvy: Stay ahead with the latest service technologies.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and manage budgets effectively.
- Technical Assistance: Support technicians with complex repairs.
- Supply Management: Ensure the shop is well-stocked with necessary materials.
- Hands-On Work: Jump in as a Service Technician when needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- 3+ years experience in automotive.
- Red Seal Certification and/or post-secondary diploma/degree is an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; adept at driving manual and automatic vehicles.
- Proven skills in gas and diesel repairs.
- Experience with routine maintenance and complex service repairs.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and automotive software.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull over 50 pounds on a regular basis.
