Ottawa (East)- Utility Automotive HVAC Technician ($26.84/h)

UTILITY AUTOMOTIVE HVAC TECHNICIAN

Full-time Permanent- Afternoon Shift

Shop Foreperson

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 12:00am

Rate:

$24.72 plus $2.50 shift premium per hour ($27.22/h)

Requirements:
 

• Must possess a valid a 'G' Driver's Licence
• Being a team player with safe working habits and good communication skills.
• Previous heavy truck tire repair experience will be considered a strong asset for this position.
• HVAC Certification an asset, company willing to train to obtain for the right candidate.
• You must be available to work late when trucks are behind schedule, as well you may be required to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

In the position of Utility Automotive HVAC Technician. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 

• Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems on all company vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Yard, shop and office upkeep and maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles.
• At times, you may be required to assist mechanics with some basic maintenance items.
