Position: Warehouse Shipper Receiver

Position Type: Full time

Location: Edmonton South

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am- 4:30pm (possible Tuesday to Saturday shift)

This role is responsible to maintain a clean and well-manicured warehouse and document inventory that both comes in and out of the branch.

Primary Job Functions
 

• Shipping, receiving, documentation, and inventory of products incoming and outgoing from the warehouse.
• Maintains the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition.
• Picking customers' orders from stock and processing incoming orders.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Assist supervisors to ensuring all tools and equipment in warehouse are safe and operational.
• Operate Forklift to move parts and equipment.
• Attend all training sessions to update technical knowledge.
• Drive company vehicle to receive and deliver parts when required.
• Proven record of following safety procedures, provincial/federal legislation, and company policies.

Qualifications
 

• 2-3 years' experience in shipping / receiving or warehouse clerk role.
• Experience working in the automotive industry, preferably the large truck OEM industry or dealership.
• Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment.
• Excellent computer skills to maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, and other computer work that may be required.
• Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.( up to and exceeding 50 pounds).
• Hold and maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license with a satisfactory driving abstract.
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
• Forklift experience is an asset (training will be provided).
