Work setting
 

  • Willing to relocate
  • On-site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.


Responsibilities & Tasks:
 

  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
  • File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces
  • Repair or replace interior components
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs
  • Mix paint, blend and match colors
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment


Experience and specialization in area of work experience:

Body components
 

  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicle body panels, including fenders, quarter panels, and hoods.
  • Skills: Must demonstrate proficiency in using body filler, sanding tools, and other equipment to restore the vehicle's surface to its original form.
  • Certification: I-CAR certification or equivalent in collision repair is preferred.


Doors and frame
 

  • Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience repairing and aligning vehicle doors and door frames.
  • Skills: Proven ability to adjust hinges, seals, and locking mechanisms to specifications.
  • Tools: Familiarity with diagnostic tools to assess door alignment issues and handheld tools for structural adjustments.


Frame straightening
 

  • Experience Required: At least 3 years of experience operating frame straightening equipment (e.g., frame machines or computerized measuring systems).
  • Skills: Must have expertise in identifying structural damage and restoring frame alignment to factory standards within 1mm tolerances.
  • Certification: ASE certification in Structural Analysis & Damage Repair or equivalent is highly desirable.


Front end components
 

  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience repairing or replacing front-end assemblies, including bumpers, headlights, radiators, and grills.
  • Skills: Knowledge of manufacturer specifications for alignment and securing of components.
  • Tools: Familiarity with plastic welding, riveting, and other attachment methods for modern materials.


Welding 
 

  • Experience Required: At least 2 years of experience in MIG, TIG, or resistance spot welding for vehicle body repairs.
  • Skills: Ability to weld a variety of metals (steel, aluminum) commonly used in vehicle construction.
  • Certification: AWS D1.1 or D1.3 certification is highly recommended.
