The Role:

Team Lead, Relationship Management is tasked with monitoring and promoting the successful execution of activities by our Relationship Managers (RM) and Senior Relationship Managers (SRM) who are focused on building and maintaining all aspects of the interactions with our larger groups and key accounts. The team lead will also hold RM responsibilities for a small set of accounts with assistance from the team members as required.

Job tasks will include overall responsibility for the execution of plans and campaigns as defined by leadership, team morale, overseeing the training of new hires, and staff daily tasks. Proactive and regular reporting on staff performance, initiative success rates, and special project results will also be a key component of monitoring the success of our endeavors. This will include a focus on promoting and coordinating the interaction and sharing of information with PBS teams.

Identifying problems before they arise and working with leadership on developing solutions that meet or exceed company goals will promote team growth. Activity coordination and mentoring team members to grow both strengths and weaknesses will promote team member evolution which will reflect on the team lead. Supporting the management levels above with advice and issue counsel based on first-hand knowledge of daily team activities is another component to excelling in the role.

Job Responsibilities: 
 

  • All duties of the Relationship Manager role for a limited set of key accounts
  • Advocate for team and customer and liaison with contemporaries on internal PBS departments ensuring follow up verifies issues are addressed
  • Working with the team to ensure client interactions (Issue list management, regular check points, and ongoing outreach) occur regularly will be the key to success. This will allow for the creation and maintenance of a plan for each customer, proactively identify challenging situations, and engage appropriate resources.
  • Work with our marketing team to regularly promote PBS events such as conference, workshops, and other client focused initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross training and assistance with Account Management Team such that all PBS customers are taken care of in times of situational staff absences
  • Expand capacity and diversity of team software knowledge and engagement capabilities
  • Oversee escalations and follow up with PBS management and Dealer representatives
  • Engage as required in difficult situations - coach and provide leadership to the team
  • Adjust processes as needed and work with other PBS teams to identify synergies
  • Manage and provide reporting of team activities as required
  • Onsite consulting and training as required by role or PBS strategic initiatives
  • Support the DMS sales team as required
  • Situational attendance at conventions, trade shows, and other external functions


Qualifications:

 

  • University degree or Diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have exceptional leadership and mentoring skills
  • The role requires enhanced familiarity with all PBS products and the ability to expertly present a PBS solution that suits the customer's needs
  • Project and people management skills
  • Dealership operations and or software integration experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to confidently engage with any level of clients
  • Excellent Presentation skills to larger groups
  • Adaptability, initiative, and ability to work independently
  • Follow-up and ensuring task completion / customer acceptance is essential
  • Solid computer knowledge specifically the Microsoft Office Suite
