The Opportunity: 

The Summer Student - Retail & Commercial Fleet Operations will support key initiatives that enhance the performance of Parkland's fleet programs. This role offers hands-on experience with cross-functional projects, day-to-day operations, and collaboration across departments such as Marketing, IT, Customer Experience, and Finance. It's an excellent opportunity for students interested in operations, project coordination, and gaining exposure in a dynamic corporate environment. 

Responsibilities: 
 

  • Support Fleet Payment initiatives through reporting, analysis, and vendor coordination.
  • Assist with Card Conversion projects by collaborating with Marketing, IT, Customer Experience, and Finance to ensure seamless implementation and communication.
  • Participate in cross-functional project work to support program enhancements and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support campaigns, site branding efforts, and communications.
  • Contribute to daily operations of fleet programs, including data entry, coordination, and process tracking.
  • Assist with Site Rebrands, supporting execution plans and internal/external communications for transitioning customers and sites.


Education: 
 

  • Enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program in Business, Marketing, or a related field.


Requirements: 
 

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Available for a 4-month term starting May 2025.
