Delivery Coordinator

Our Abbotsford location is looking for a Delivery Coordinator to join our team and contribute to delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Position Overview:

The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that sold RV units are ready for delivery and for providing customers with detailed demonstrations of their new RVs. This hands-on role requires a passion for RVs, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This is a Regular, Full-Time position.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Adhere to Fraserway RV's Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Ensure sold units are ready for delivery, maintaining ongoing communication with the service and reconditioning departments.
• Retrieve sold units from the wash bay and place them in the delivery bay for customer presentation.
• Demonstrate and teach customers about all features and standard items of their new RV.
• Assist with loading the showroom and placing units on the lot.
• Support unit check-ins and assist with loading bays for the reconditioning department.
• Provide assistance to the wash bay and reconditioning department as needed.
• Perform any other tasks as directed by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

 

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in the RV industry or a related field.
• Forklift experience and license are an asset.
• A strong interest in RVs with knowledge of RV repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage ranging from $23 to $25 per hour, based on relevant experience in the RV industry.

Work Conditions:

 

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round.
• Shift work required, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings, to meet business needs.
• Overtime may be required during peak times.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying equipment and supplies.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, including tasks like shoveling snow, transporting RV parts, and managing cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Manual dexterity required for the safe operation of cleaning equipment, including power washers and hand tools.
