Job Details
CARFAX Canada is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the success of our monthly financial processes. Reporting to the Manager of Accounts Receivable, this role involves managing collections, supporting invoice preparation, and ensuring accurate customer billing and subscription processing. Collaboration, attention to detail, and meeting month-end deadlines are key aspects of this position.

Position Responsibilities
- Create and review financial documentation such as customer invoices, post receipts, and prepare deposits as required.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service and Sales Operations teams to respond to billing inquiries.
- Update and maintain customer account information, including billing and subscription information.
- Prepare monthly invoices.
- Process customer payments, including monthly credit card and electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and enter customer credits and account adjustments to maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with customers to address account-related matters, including collections and inquires.
- Support the team with various administrative and accounting tasks, as necessary.
Education and Experience Required:
- College diploma in accounting, business administration, or equivalent field.
- 2-3 years job experience in Accounts Receivable and/or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and basic accounting principles.
- Proven ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail under tight timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with data entry in a professional setting is an asset.
- Knowledge using accounting and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems (e.g., Great Plains) is considered an asset.
