Western Kia is looking for a motivated, energetic, and career-minded individual to join our growing dealership. The Service Advisor will primarily be responsible for scheduling required and recommended services to our customers. The Service Advisor will act as the dealership's first point of contact for the Service Department. They must be energetic, able to multitask, and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Job duties:

 

  • Providing exceptional customer service in an efficient manner by working with the Kia team.
  • Greeting service customers and obtaining customer and vehicle data.
  • Opening and closing work orders.
  • Gathering and interpreting information from the Service Technicians and communicating this information to customers.
  • Advising customers on the care and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacture's specifications, using maintenance menus.
  • Handling telephone inquiries regarding work in progress, making appointments and returning messages promptly.
  • Providing follow-up with customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.


Requirements:
 

  • Customer service experience required.
  • Must have driver's license and able to provide an acceptable driver abstract.
  • Previous work experience in a dealership would be an asset.
  • Post-secondary education an asset.
